Oakland Raiders tight end David Ausberry (shoulder) sat out practice on Wednesday and probably won't play in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, Comcast Sportsnet's Dave Bair reports.
David Ausberry injury update: misses practice Wednesday, on fantasy sidelines for now
Raiders tight end David Ausberry did not practice Wednesday and is likely out for Week 3 against the Broncos. We discuss the fantasy implications

Ausberry initially suffered the injury in the Raiders' second game of the preseason and has not practiced since. Jeron Mastrud and Mychal Rivera have been filling in to start the season, but Ausberry is still considered number one on the team's depth chart at the tight end position.
Fantasy Impact: Quarterback Terrelle Pryor has done a decent job giving the Raiders a chance to win in his first season as an NFL starter, but he’s not turning any pass catchers into fantasy studs in Oakland, including Rivera and Mastrud. The two fill-in tight ends have a combined six catches for 99 yards through two weeks. There’s a good chance the Raiders will have to rely on Darren MacFadden a lot this season as their passing game will be sub par in general. Ausberry is worth taking a flyer on as a number one guy on an NFL team just to see how he does, but it’s unlikely he’ll be anything more than a spot start on any roster.
