Lamar Miller named as Dolphins starting tailback, fantasy breakout could be coming
Lamar Miller is atop the Miami depth chart at running back. We break down the fantasy implications.

The team has been coy with their depth chart and even hinted at the idea of Daniel Thomas winning the job. Of course, Thomas hasn't been much of a running back and last year he averaged just 3.6 yards per carry while coughing it up three times in his 92 carries.
Fantasy impact: Miller’s ADP was soaring a month ago, but it took a hit with the Dolphins playing games with their Thomas buffoonery. Here’s a graph to show it thanks to fantasyfootballcalculator.com:
The Dolphins have a great schedule for a running back thanks to taking on the NFC West along with their weaker defenses within the AFC East. Miller should see a featured role with the team and since the Dolphins don’t have much of a third-down back, he should be a busy man. If you can snap him up in the fourth round, you should be very happy, but the third round seems more appropriate.
