Ray Rice questionable for Week 3, Bernard Pierce might be solid fantasy handcuff
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice is questionable for Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rice was injured in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. The injury is a strained hip flexor, suffered in the second half of Baltimore's win.Rice went down, immediately grabbed his hip, and then limped off the field. His injury kept him out of every practice this week, though he had gotten over his limp around Wednesday.
At this point, it doesn’t seem likely that Rice will play, given the lack of practice and the fact that his injury hasn’t been cleared. He’s not ruled out by any means, and he knows the offense obviously, so he doesn’t necessarily need the practice time, but it’s not looking good.
Fantasy Impact: Rice still could play, but even if he does, it seems likely that his carries would be limited. The Ravens have a tough game against the Texans and they'd like Rice in the lineup, but they'd rather lose him for one week than risk re-injury. It seems likely that Bernard Pierce is a good candidate to get 20-25 touches in this game, so if you picked him up as a handcuff, he should be a solid play, since the Ravens don't want Joe Flacco throwing the football 50-plus times per game.
