Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf) was limited in practice on Friday and will not play in the team's Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks. After notching a career-high 58 receptions and 10 touchdowns in 2010-11, Lewis as scored a combined total of four touchdowns since then on a basement dwelling worthy Jaguars offense.
Mercedes Lewis injury update: still not full strength, on the fantasy sidelines
The Jaguars tight end and safety valve, Lewis won’t be a fantasy sleeper in Seattle in Week 3. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Judging by the way the Jaguars have played so far this season, all signs point to their Week 3 game being a blowout in Seattle. The Seahawks made the San Fransisco 49ers look bad in Week 2 and they haven't lost at home since the 2011-12 season. Niether Chad Henne nor Blaine Gabbert appear to be the answer at quarterback in Jacksonville, and it looks like they'll hands down be the worst team in football this season. That makes Lewis no more than a once in a blue moon fantasy play. Not that owners were exactly holding their breath waiting for his triumphant return or anything.
