San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (foot) participated in all the team's practices this past week and will start against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3 on Sunday. Kaepernick played one of the worst games of his career against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2, completing just one of eight passes for 17 yards on passes greater than 10 yards in blowout loss.
Colin Kaepernick injury update: Fine and dandy for fantasy start in Week 3
The 49ers quarterback looks to bounce back against the suddenly improved Colts in Week 3. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Kaepernick's performance in Week 2 came against arguably the league's best defense and best home team, so the results of his efforts should be taken with a grain of salt by fantasy owners. After all, he's still the same guy that led the 49ers to the Super Bowl last year and stole the starting job from Alex Smith. The Colts are only in the middle of the pack as far as giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks goes and safety LaRon Landry (ankle) has been ruled out for the game, which makes things a bit easier for Kaepernick and his receivers.
