A hamstring injury has forced Larry Fitzgerald to sit out several practices in recent weeks, but the Cardinals No. 1 receiver should be out on the field for Sunday’s game against the Saints. Fitzgerald said he plans to play, according to Ken Somers, who spoke with the wideout Sunday morning.
Larry Fitzgerald expects to play in Week 3, fantasy value going up
After another week of limited practice, Larry Fitzgerald plans on being in action on Sunday afternoon. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fitzgerald was a limited participant at practice on Friday. While he’s been questionable throughout the week, he continued to maintain the belief that he would play in Week 3.
Fantasy impact: Owners aren’t really concerned with whether or not Fitzgerald is playing. His effectiveness is what’s in question. Last week he finished with two catches for 33 in 49 snaps played.
With another week to recover, Fitzgerald’s value continues to increase. He should have more of an impact facing the Saints, a defense that has been surprisingly stingy against the pass through two games. Unless you have one of the top receivers in the league to replace Fitzgerald, it’s hard to justify sitting him.
