It looks like the Patriots will have to wait another week to get their star tight end back in the starting lineup. Rob Gronkowski is officially inactive for Week 3. His forearm, not his back, is the reason he continues to be held out of games, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rob Gronkowski inactive, off fantasy radar in Week 3
While Rob Gronkowski is getting closer to returning, he won’t be playing against the Buccaneers in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

All signs are pointing towards a Week 4 comeback for Gronkowski. If his forearm continues to be an issue, though, he won’t return until he’s back to full strength.
Fantasy impact: The last word owners want to hear in a Gronk report is “forearm.” The root of his problems in 2012, Gronk is still working on getting back to 100 percent health.
Expect Gronk to be ready to go in Week 4, but keep a close eye on his status for any further reports on his forearm. Tom Brady desperately needs a reliable target in the passing game. Gronk will step in and be a must-start whenever he makes it back into the lineup.
