After two mediocre weeks as the starting running back in St. Louis, Daryl Richardson might be losing ground on his starting role with the Rams. Richardson “did very little” in practice on Friday, and if he is limited against the Cowboys, it could open the door for Isaiah Pead to step up.
Daryl Richardson could be losing fantasy value in Week 3
Daryl Richardson has competition gaining on him in the Rams backfield. We break down the fantasy implications.

Richardson has been dealing with a foot injury, but he was only held out of practice on Wednesday. Through two games, he’s rushed for 98 yards on 30 carries to go with 10 receptions.
Fantasy impact: The general consensus continues to favor Pead as the more talented back. If he can put in a strong showing against Dallas, Richardson isn’t going to be the clear-cut starter for much longer.
Richardson only played nine more snaps than Pead in Week 2. It’s clear the Rams are not set on rolling with a featured back. We could be moving towards the dreaded RBBC.
