Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray totaled 96 rushing yards on 16 carries to go with three catches for 28 yards against the Rams in the first half.
DeMarco Murray flirting with 100 yards on the ground vs. Rams, big fantasy day on the way
DeMarco Murray was busy in the first half on Sunday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

He had a two-yard run and his long was 36 yards. This is not the usual Cowboys approach with their pass-happy scheme. Murray had just 25 yards in Week 1 and they’ve been among the bottom teams in rushing yards and TDs over the past few seasons.
Fantasy impact: Murray has no competition and the Cowboys have been able to score some points while he has been on the team, but his fantasy production hasn’t been there. The Oklahoma product slipped in drafts for a couple reasons: Murray hasn’t been able to stay healthy and the aforementioned pass-happy Tony Romo. Things could be looking up for him with Dallas’ D playing better, so they might have to run the ball more to play the clock game.
