New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning continued his season-opening swoon Sunday, completing only 12 of 23 passes for 119 yards. Manning had no touchdowns and threw an interception as the Giants lost to the Carolina Panthers 38-0.
Eli Manning’s troubles continue for fantasy owners
Manning has been a disaster the last two weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Manning's bad Week 3 comes on the heels of his four-interception performance against his brother's Denver Broncos a week ago.
Fantasy impact: Curtis Painter played for the Giants. How-is-he-still-in-the-league Curtis Painter threw four pass attempts in this game. Now, much of that is likely because head coach Tom Coughlin decided giving Manning any more chances to get hurt (he was sacked seven times for 45 total yards Sunday) was foolhardy, but still, it is the third game of the Giants' season, and Curtis Painter saw the field.
Manning is two games removed from a 450-yard, four-touchdown performance (albeit with three interceptions, but still). It is still too early to give up hope on him, but at this point, fantasy owners really need to be scouring for a better option.
