New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees had a huge game Sunday, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for another. Brees was 29-for-46 passing for 342 yards, plus one touchdown, as the Saints beat the Arizona Cardinals 31-7.
Drew Brees gives fantasy owners 3 pass TDs, 1 rushing TD
Brees had a huge fantasy day in the Saints’ big win. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brees threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Robert Meachem, and 16- and seven-yard scores to tight end Jimmy Graham. His rushing touchdown came on a seven-yard run early in the fourth quarter.
Fantasy impact: This was the game Brees owners were hoping for this season. After a decent Week 1 and a fantasy-poor Week 2, Brees put it all together Sunday. While his 342 yards Sunday were around his average so far this season, he doubled his season passing-touchdown total and added a rushing score, and cut his interceptions from a week ago in half.
The Saints' bye week is in four weeks, after a home game against Miami and trips to Chicago and New England. Brees, especially after a down week from Aaron Rodgers, ought to be considered one of the safest bets in the league going forward.
