Morris got his second touchdown of the season, his first since the team's season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy impact: Morris, who went in the first round of most fantasy drafts, hasn’t quite lived up to that value as yet. He has 225 rushing yards on 40 carries so far this season, a yards-per-carry average of 5.6. With only one hundred-yard performance - and that one coming in the one game in which he didn’t score - Morris has been a good-not-great running back so far.
Part of the reason for Morris’ dip in production can be attributed to his team at large, as the Redskins have been playing from behind a lot, limiting the rushes available to Morris. But he is also having trouble finding separation for himself to get big yardage.
None of this is to say Morris is having a bad year - he isn't. But for him to recoup draft-day value, he'll need to up his production. With a game at the Oakland Raiders before the Redskins' Week 5 bye, there's a chance for Morris to have a big game in Week 4.
