Matthew Stafford gives fantasy owners two touchdown passes
Satfford also threw for 385 yards against the Redskins Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stafford's first touchdown came on a five-yard pass to tight end Joseph Fauria early in the second quarter, before adding another late in the game on an 11-yard pass to stud wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Overall, Stafford completed 25 of his 42 pass attempts.
Fantasy impact: Stafford appears to have a new toy, having thrown two short touchdown passes to Fauria through three games. If Fauria can develop as a weapon for Stafford, it could go a long way to correcting the team’s goal-to-go issues from last year.
Stafford has thrown for 1,020 yards through three games, with six touchdowns and two interceptions. Johnson has been responsible for 268 of those yards, with another 322 going to running backs Joique Bell and Reggie Bush. If the Lions can continue to diversify their weapons, it stands to reason Stafford could have a year more like his monster 2011 season than his subpar 2012.
