Cincinnati Bengals running backs BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Giovani Bernard contributed at a similar pace in the team's Week 3 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Both carried the ball 10 times and scored a touchdown with Bernard notching 50 yards to Green-Ellis' 29.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Giovani Bernard officially in fantasy time share
A seasoned veteran and young rookie handled touches pretty evenly for the Bengals in Week 3. We discuss the fantasy implications

Fantasy impact: Ever Since the Bengals drafted Bernard this past summer, it's been known that he is the future of Cincinnati's backfield. Green-Ellis has been sort of a stop-gap solution ever since the team parted ways with Cedric Benson a few years ago. It's only a matter of time before fantasy owners of Green-Ellis see his touches diminish, as the Bengals' coaching staff seem perfectly happy with running a time share system in Cincinnati for the time being. Don't look to anyone in the Bengals' backfield to be a workhorse running back for now, especially with the team winning.
