New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes had a big day on Sunday. Holmes caught five passes for 154 yards, including a 69-yard touchdowns strike from quarterback Geno Smith. That touchdown reception is what broke a 20-20 tie in the fourth quarter and ultimately led to a Jets victory.
Santonio Holmes has huge day for Jets, fantasy owners
New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes had a huge day on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Holmes was good for an average of 30.8 yards per reception. It was his biggest game of the season, given that he only caught three passes for 51 yards in Week 2 and one pass for 13 yards in Week 3. It was also his first touchdown of the season. Stephen Hill also had more than 100 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Jets.
Fantasy Impact: Holmes is the best receiver on the team, but he had a down couple of weeks to start his season. He’s never been a top fantasy option, but he’s a solid No. 2 or No. 3 for some people. If he continues to play like he did in Week 3, then fantasy owners will be very happy. There’s also been a few health concerns here or there but he looked great on Sunday and it doesn’t appear to be an issue going forward.
