Ahmad Bradshaw has big game, solid fantasy performance against 49ers
Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw had a big game against the San Francisco 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bradshaw’s numbers are significant because of the player that got the second-most yardage for the Colts: newly acquired back Trent Richardson. The Colts recently traded a first-round pick for Richardson, and he’s most certainly the future in Indianapolis. But Bradshaw has always been about being underrated and proving his doubters wrong.
Richardson will get more and more carries, but Bradshaw isn't going to give up without a fight. The team was planning on splitting Bradshaw's carries with Vick Ballard before making the trade, and if Bradshaw continues to perform like he did against the tough San Francisco defense, then they could have him share with Richardson as well.
Fantasy Impact: If Bradshaw has a bad game, he'll almost certainly be immediately passed up by Richardson. But he hasn't had that bad game yet, and if you happen to have picked him up as a handcuff and now are forced to use him in fantasy, you should continue to play him. He might not be a smart option by midseason but he has value for now until Richardson is fully integrated into the offense.
