San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had a bad game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Kaepernick completed just 13 of 27 passes, for only 150 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. He did have seven carries for 20 yards, but it certainly didn't help much, as the 49ers lost to the Colts, 27-7.

Kaepernick also had a poor Week 2. In a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, he threw for just 127 yards with a whopping three interceptions. It's definitely not a good sign for the 49ers, who made it all the way to the Super Bowl last season and were expected to be among the NFL's elite this year.
That’s certainly not out of the question at this point, but if Kaepernick doesn’t play well, the 49ers won’t win. He looked panicky, and he made a lot of mistakes in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Kaepernick was drafted relatively high on average this season. His ability to both throw and run the ball was a sticking point, but he's failed to do either thus far. Sure, he had success in Week 1, but he's had two-straight weeks of completely failing for the 49ers. Fantasy owners should not give up on him, as it's early in the season, but a matchup against the secondary-needy St. Louis Rams on Thursday should provide a good test for where he's at.
