San Diego Chargers head coach Mike McCoy told the Union-Tribune San Diego that the "touches will come" for wide receiver Vincent Brown going forward.
Vincent Brown’s touches ‘will come,’ McCoy says; fantasy owners hope so
Brown has been lightly used through three games, but the Chargers coach says that should change. We break down the fantasy implications.

Through three games, Brown leads the receiving corps in offensive snaps played, having been on the field for more than 93 percent of the team's offensive plays so far. Even with that, he has only eight catches on 14 targets for 50 yards with one touchdown. Meanwhile, Eddie Royal has five touchdowns, Antonio Gates and Malcom Floyd have both had 100-yard games, and running back Danny Woodhead leads the team in receptions.
Fantasy impact: After missing all of last season with an ankle injury, hopes were that Brown would start hot in 2013, and that hasn’t come to pass because Royal, Floyd, Gates, and Woodhead have gotten far more attention.
That said, Floyd is injured, and Royal’s production came almost entirely through his high touchdown rate that probably isn’t repeatable. Brown is still likely the best receiver option of the three going forward, and McCoy is likely right - Brown’s touches will come.
