Tight end Jared Cook will try to get back on the right track Thursday night when the St. Louis Rams host the San Francisco 49ers. Cook has had a quiet two games since his huge Week 1 outing against the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Football start/sit advice, TNF: Jared Cook
The Rams tight end has been cold for two weeks after a dominant opening game. Should he be a go for Week 4?

Cook caught seven of his 10 targets in Week 1 for 141 yards and two touchdowns, narrowly missing a third score when the ball was stripped just before he entered the end zone. In the two weeks since, Cook has six catches total for 54 yards.
Fantasy impact: As Cook has gone, so have gone the Rams so far. In his huge Week 1, the team won, 27-24, but they have lost consecutive games 31-24 and 31-7 at the same time that he’s gone ice cold.
The 49ers have shut down opposing tight ends the last couple weeks, though their opponents -- Zach Miller and Coby Fleener -- are not tight ends on the same level as Cook. In Week 1, San Francisco gave up 56 yards and a score to opposing tight end Jermichael Finley.
With the tight end position -- after Jimmy Graham, Julius Thomas and Jordan Cameron -- struggling as an entire unit so far this season, Cook is still just about a must-start. Our tight end rankings list him seventh at the position, and that's assuming Rob Gronkowski plays. Cook needs to be out there in the vast majority of leagues.
