Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak expects wide receiver Andre Johnson to start in Week 4, according to Tania Ganguli of ESPN. Johnson played in Week 3, but exited the game due to a shin injury. It was the second-straight week in which he was unable to finish a full game.
Andre Johnson expected to start in Week 4, should be started in fantasy
Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is expected to start in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson did not practice on Wednesday, and was a limited participant on Thursday. He did practice on Friday as well and seems likely to play with this news. Johnson playing doesn’t mean he’ll be at 100 percent, but he is one of the best receivers in the league so, if he’s anywhere close to that mark, he’ll still be better than most.
The Texans drew a tough matchup this week with their game against the 3-0 Seattle Seahawks. Johnson will be facing what is widely considered the best secondary in the league, likely drawing coverage from Brandon Browner. Rookie DeAndre Hopkins should be covered by Richard Sherman.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson can beat Browner if he’s near 100 percent, but it’s unclear where he actually stands in his recovery. Regardless, it seems likely he’ll play, and you can’t have a guy like Johnson sitting on your bench. You’ll probably have to get the bulk of your fantasy points elsewhere this week, but sitting him is not a smart option in any scenario other than him being declared out for a game.
