If you were waiting for word on Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola for your fantasy football starting lineup, the New England Patriots made life a little bit easier for you. Adam Schefter is reporting that Gronkowski and Amendola did not travel with the team to Atlanta. This means they will not be playing on Sunday Night Football.
Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola injury update: Neither travels for Patriots-Falcons
Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola will not travel with the New England Patriots for their Week 4 Sunday Night Football contest at the Atlanta Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gronk has been out all season with back issues. There were hopes he might get back in time for this game, but it looks like his 2013 debut will be pushed back at least one more week. The fact that he will not even attempt to see how he feels before game time leaves fantasy owners wondering what to expect for Week 5.
Amendola injured his groin in the Patriots Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills. There have been questions about the duration of the injury, with Amendola listed as limited in practice all week. Groin injuries are always tough to figure out given how easy it is to aggravate the injury.
Fantasy impact: The absence of these two weapons in the passing game means Julian Edelman retains his role as Tom Brady's top target in Week 4. That being said, Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins will get another week to try and establish themselves as viable options with Tom Brady. Dobson led the Patriots in targets in Week 3, but given his rookie status, Dobson is not a guy from whom owner's can expect consistency at this point. Edelman is a solid WR2 in PPR leagues, but all three are no more than WR3/flex options in standard leagues.
