Rashard Mendenhall injury update: Cardinals RB probable Sunday, but lacking fantasy value
Arizona Cardinals running back Rashard Mendenhall is likely to play on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mendenhall was also on the injury report in Week 2 for a knee injury, and again in Week 3 with the same injury. He was listed as questionable for Week 3, but he did end up playing. He carried the ball nine times for 29 yards, and to this point, has been very underwhelming for the Cardinals.
Arizona currently has the No. 23 rushing offense in the NFL, averaging 86.3 yards per game. Mendenhall was supposed to be the starter and add a new dynamic to the offense, but that hasn’t happened yet. However, all signs point to him playing on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Mendenhall has been a let down for fantasy owners, and many have moved on already. If you’re still sticking with him, then you should know that it seems entirely likely he plays Sunday. Now, whether or not he’ll be effective is an entirely different story. Of course, he could also turn things around and have a big day. It really depends what other backs are on your team.
