Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden (thumb) will not play against the Browns in Week 4. He did not practice this week and Brian Hoyer will get his second start of the season.
Brandon Weeden injury update: Brian Hoyer puts a big dent in his fantasy value
Brandon Weeden may have lost his starting job for good. We break down the fantasy implications.

So much for Grandpa Weeden getting a chance to make good on the Browns taking him in the first round. Hoyer was outstanding in Week 3 with three TDs and a road win at Minnesota.
Weeden is likely going to become a backup for the Browns, but it’s no lock since Hoyer hasn’t done much before his big-time Week 3.
Fantasy impact: Obviously, it's hard to own Weeden in just about any format. The Browns could have a tough time moving the ball against the Bengals. Last week, Minnesota proved that it is one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, so those that are looking at Hoyer this week as a bye-week option might have a false sense of security.
