New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin) has officially been ruled out for Sunday Night Football. Amendola was initially listed as questionable, but he ended up not making the trip with the Patriots. Amendola hasn't played since suffering the injury in a Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Danny Amendola still questionable for fantasy owners
Patriots’ Wide receiver Danny Amendola is listed as questionable for the team’s Week 4 game against the Falcons. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Although Amendola is making progress, the groin is still bothering him. Normally you’d see a player at least make the trip and test out the groin before the game. The fact that he did not even make the trip means he will be at least a game-time decision once again next week.
In Amendola's absence, Julian Edelman has seen his fantasy value increase dramatically as the lone receiver quarterback Tom Brady can truly count on. Edelman has 27 catches for 201 yards and two touchdowns through three games this year after catching just 21 passes in nine contests last season.
Brady on the other hand is finally starting to develop a rapport with his other young receivers, namely Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins. That said, the imminent return of Amendola and tight end Rob Gronkowski will be met by fantasy owners with open arms.
