Fantasy football projections: Giants vs. Chiefs features Eli Manning, Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles
We break down the Week 4 matchup between the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs.

New York Giants
Few football experts would have predicted that the New York Giants would start the season with three straight losses, but that's exactly what has happened. Quarterback Eli Manning put up fantastic fantasy numbers in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, but it was because the Giants were playing from behind and neither David Wilson nor Da'Rel Scott showed he was ready to lead the charge in the running game.
Wilson has been especially disappointing for fantasy owners. Projected as one of the top 20 players in the game prior to the start of the season, Wilson is averaging 25 yards per game through three weeks and has left his owners in so deep a hole that it’s nearly impossible to get any kind of value for him via a trade. The only good news is that Wilson’s fantasy value can only go up from here.
Kansas City Chiefs
After starting the season with two straight wins, quarterback Alex Smith and the Chiefs rolled over the Philadelphia Eagles in head coach Andy Reid's triumphant return. Though Smith was sacked five times and had trouble getting away from the Eagles' pass rush, he still completed 22 passes while throwing for 273 yards and didn't turn the ball over once.
Smith was helped by the strong play of the Chiefs defense and running back Jamaal Charles, who managed 172 total yards and a touchdown on 27 touches in his best game of the season to this point. Charles faces a Giants run defense that has given up to the 10th most points to fantasy running backs and has received sub-par performances from its defensive line, which leaves plenty of opportunity for Charles and his quarterback to put up a ton of points.
