The Patriots are "hopeful" that Danny Amendola will be able to play against the Bengals in Week 5. He was ruled out for Week 4 on Saturday with a groin strain.
Patriots hopeful for Danny Amendola for Week 5, fantasy value on the rise
The Patriots are hopeful that Danny Amendola can play in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

Amendola came out like gangbusters in his debut with the team, catching 10 balls against the Bills to kick off his Patriots career. His stint with the club since then, however, has gone horribly wrong due to groin injuries. He was dealing with the problem in the preseason, and has aggravated it more than once.
He’s dealt with a slew of injuries for most of his career and the Patriots knew what they were getting themselves into. But they didn’t have much choice in the matter because he fits into Wes Welker’s role extremely well.
Fantasy impact: He’ll be a threat to catch 10 balls in every game that he’s active. Of course, the risk makes him someone that’s going to be a headache to own. He obviously needs to be owned in all leagues, and those that have a little bit of riverboat gambler in them can try and trade for him.
