The Minnesota Vikings made a QB switch on Sunday, starting Matt Cassel over an injured Christian Ponder, and the Vikings' passing game benefited. Jerome Simpson led the way with seven receptions for 124 yards, while Greg Jennings had three receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Greg Jennings, Jerome Simpson enjoy fantasy resurgence with Matt Cassel
Greg Jennings and Jerome Simpson both put together strong fantasy performances in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

This game marked Simpson’s second 100+ receiving performance of the season, having finished with 140 yards in Week 1. Jennings, meanwhile, recorded a season high for yards and his first two touchdowns of the season.
Fantasy impact: Jennings was likely getting a few starts, while Simpson was either languishing on your bench or waivers. The Vikings head into their bye week, which means Christian Ponder gets some time to rest. If Ponder is fine heading into Week 6, what do the Vikings do? Matt Cassel looked like a competent quarterback, which is something Ponder rarely seems to do.
If you have some space to make a move, Simpson is a good deep option to stash. If Ponder comes back, his status, along with that of Jennings, takes a decent hit. If Cassel gets another start in two weeks, both become intriguing flex options.
