New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith threw for 289 yards and a touchdown but turned in an otherwise horrendous performance Sunday in the Jets' loss to the Tennessee Titans. Smith threw two interceptions and fumbled the ball away twice as the Titans defense pressured him all day. Smith was sacked five times as well.
Geno Smith’s growing pains a concern for fantasy owners
New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith threw for 289 yards and a touchdown but turned the ball over four times in the Jets’ loss to the Tennessee Titans. We bring you the fantasy implications.

Smith is showing the growing pains you might expect from a rookie but this was a particularly bad performance. It didn’t help that Smith lost his favorite target in Stephen Hill to a head injury on the first offensive series.
Fantasy impact: Smith has now thrown eight interceptions on the season while throwing for 801 yards and four touchdowns. He turned in his second-worst performance of the season Sunday though he did look good at times. The extent of Stephen Hill's injury is unknown at this point, and that means Smith is going to remain a shaky fantasy start. The Jets will face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 5.
