Matt Forte holds down the fort for fantasy owners in losing effort
The Bears’ workshorse found the end zone for the second straight week in Week 4. We discuss the fantasy implications

Fantasy impact: Forte's performance against the Lions was especially good considering the Bears had to abandon the run game in the second half, as they were getting blown out by Matthew Stafford and the Lions' defense.
Although there has been a lot of fuss around the league about the fact that head coach Marc Trestman has brought a new offensive system to Chicago, Forte has always been a consistent part of the Bears’ game plan.
He is especially valuable in leagues that reward receptions as quarterback Jay Cutler loves to swing it out to him in the backfield and give him more room to run rather than just hand the ball off in the traditional sense. The Bears will continue to do that throughout the season, thus maintaining Forte's fantasy value.
In Week 5, Forte goes up against the New Orleans Saints run defense that has given up the ninth most fantasy points to running backs this season. As long as Cutler can avoid turning the ball over as much to do against the Lions, Forte could be in for his best game for season next week. Fantasy owners should start him as usual.
