The Eagles couldn’t get the ball moving on the ground like they usually do, but as a team they put up 161 rushing yards on a 4.7 yards-per-carry average. The Broncos are ranked third in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, but that may be due to their ridiculous offense.
The Eagles decided to use a little bit of Chris Polk and Bryce Brown to complement McCoy. Polk scored the only rushing TD on Sunday as part of his three-carry, 33-yard game while Brown put up 19 yards on eight carries.
Fantasy impact: Despite the sub-par game, Shady is leading the NFL in rushing by 47 yards over Adrian Peterson. It’s also good news that his leg injury from Week 2 looks to be all cleared up. He’s arguably the top asset in fantasy football and we’re not worried about Polk or Brown limiting his upside.
