New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Santonio Holmes questionable for Week 1, unlikely to be fantasy factor
Santonio Holmes got in a limited practice on Friday and is officially questionable for the season opener.

Holmes got in a limited practice on Friday after sitting Thursday out in a pre-planned absence. He is expected to be active on Sunday, but in a limited role. Holmes missed most of training camp and preseason while recovering from Lisfranc surgery.
Fantasy impact: Holmes once thought he would be out until October, so his recovery is going quicker than expected. Still, he won't be playing a lot of snaps as the team continues to bring him along slowly. In addition, the Jets will be starting rookie Geno Smith at quarterback, who is expected to struggle against an improved Bucs defense. Holmes is the team's top receiver, but he will probably be covered by Darrelle Revis on the few times he does see the field. He's not worth starting in fantasy this week.
