Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller is listed as "doubtful" on the official injury report headed into Sunday's season opener against the Tennessee Titans, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. Miller tore his ACL last season and has been making good progress on his recovery, which is why the team took him off the physically unable to perform list.
Heath Miller listed as ‘doubtful’, not a smart Week 1 fantasy play
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller is listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

This means that Miller officially counts toward the 53-man roster and, accordingly, they believe he’ll be ready to go at some point prior to hitting that six-week mark. Had he remained on the PUP, he would have had to be inactive until Week 6 passed.
That said, Week 1 was always a longshot for Miller. Things will get more interesting heading into Weeks 2 and 3, which have been targeted for his potential return by some.
Fantasy Impact: Miller caught 71 passes for 816 yards and eight touchdowns last season. The Steelers were just OK last season, but Miller was definitely a bright spot. He’ll be a productive tight end for fantasy owners this season, but given that he’s listed as doubtful and coming off his injury, he absolutely should sit on your bench this week. Do not start him.
