The Colts are hoping Bradshaw can take over and be their feature back throughout the course of a season. He did have 1,015 yards and six touchdowns with the New York Giants a season ago, but has missed time in both of his last two seasons with injuries.
Bradshaw playing wouldn’t be surprising at this point. He has missed a lot of practice time, but he should be well-acclimated with the offense, especially given that it’s generally easier for running backs to pick up an offense on the fly than it is for other positions.
Fantasy Impact: Bradshaw isn't a No. 1 option by any means, but he should be a solid fantasy No. 2. Whether he is in Week 1 is up for debate, as he might give up some carries to Vick Ballard or Donald Brown, but he does have a favorable matchup: the Oakland Raiders. Oakland is a mess right now, and Bradshaw could certainly have a big game. He's a judgment call at this point, but for lack of a better option, he could be smart as a No. 2 this week.
