New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is expected to start in the team's season opener on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Cruz is recovering from a heel injury, and spent the last week practicing in full before being listed as "probable" on the official Friday injury report.
Victor Cruz injury update: Giants WR expected to play, is a must-start in fantasy
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is likely to play Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cruz suffered the injury in the team's second preseason game, and was held out of the remainder of said preseason. He returned to practice this past week and was practicing full-speed in 11-on-11 drills. He looks good from a conditioning standpoint and obviously knows the offense with Eli Manning, so there's nothing to worry about there.
Fantasy Impact: Cruz is not the No. 1 receiver on the Giants, but he’s definitely one of the few wide receivers out there who can be the No. 2 guy on their team and still be the No. 1 guy on your fantasy team. If that seemed a little convoluted, know that Cruz is a very strong fantasy play and you should start him with all confidence on Sunday.
