Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is on track to play in the team's season opener against the San Diego Chargers on Monday. Foster has looked very good in practice, and head coach Gary Kubiak was complimentary of the work he's put in since returning.
Arian Foster injury update: Texans RB should play; fantasy owners should start him
Arian Foster has looked good in practice and should be good to go on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kubiak neglected to give a carry count for his star running back, however. Foster injured his calf on the opening day of organized team activities in May, and missed all of training camp and the preseason with said injury, as well as back issues. He only returned to practice from his injuries this past week, though he has been taking part with full participation.
Fantasy Impact: All signs point to Foster starting and getting some solid playing time. Ben Tate might take a few more snaps from him than usual, but Foster thinks he's ready and practice seems to indicate he could get a fair number of carries. Add up all of that and the fact that Foster is simply too good to ride the fantasy bench when he's active on gameday and you've got your answer: start him.
