The Steelers center was injured on the team’s opening drive against the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Pouncey "not good" according to one #Steelers official. Possible ACL. Getting MRI

Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey needed to be carted off the field on Pittsburgh's first possession Sunday against the Tennessee Titans after suffering an apparent knee injury.
The injury came when right guard David DeCastro rolled onto Pouncey's lower right leg on a running play just minutes into the game. He is out for the season opener and has been taken to the hospital for an MRI.
Fantasy impact: This doesn't bode well for the Steelers' already-unreliable running game, or for Ben Roethlisberger. Pittsburgh only had seven offensive linemen dressed for the game, and now things are looking especially thin as second-year backup Kelvin Beachum enters the game to replace Pouncey.
Not that you were running around with a lot of faith in Felix Jones, LaRod Stephens-Howling, or Isaac Redman before this. However, if Pouncey is out for any length of time (which seems possible-to-likely right now), you can probably scratch them completely off the list. As for Roethlisberger, we all know he can take a sack; he'd better get used to a few more.
