A.J. Green did almost all his damage in the first half Sunday, and finished the game with nine receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns as the Bengals fell to the Bears 24-21.
A.J. Green notches pair of touchdowns for fantasy owners
A.J. Green lived up to expectations through one game of the season, with a pair of touchdown receptions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green had a pair of touchdown receptions in the first half - one for two yards and another for 45-and 129 yards, before being relatively shut down in the second half.
Fantasy impact: Green is who we thought Green was, and proved he was worthy of his high draft pick. On the other hand, both of Andy Dalton’s two interceptions came on passes he tried to feed to Green, and his production fell sharply in the second half.
Dalton appears prone to the fall-in-love-with-a-receiver problem that occasionally plagues middling quarterbacks, and the Bears picked up on it, guarding Green more heavily in the second half. If that trend continues, Green could see his production fall a bit, though someone with his ability will never be totally shut down.
