Dolphins running back Lamar Miller ran for just 3 yards on 10 carries in the team's 23-10 victory versus the Browns.
Lamar Miller disappoints fantasy owners with 3 rushing yards vs. Browns
Lamar Miller’s first start of the 2013 season left much to be desired from fantasy owners, with three yards rushing. We break down the fantasy implications.

It was an unceremonious start to the season for Miller, who found no room to run versus a Browns front seven that sold out on stopping the run. Concern grew among owners after talk of a split backfield with Daniel Thomas surfaced earlier in the week, which ultimately became the case. However, Miller got the start and had five carries before Thomas had his first.
Fantasy Spin: Thomas also scored the only rushing touchdown of the day for the Dolphins, getting a first-and-goal carry at the 1 over Miller in the fourth quarter. Though Thomas got the ever-valuable goal-line carry, he was no more effective as a whole, rushing for 14 yards on eight carries. Though it was a frustrating day on the ground for all, things should open up for Miller much more in Week 2 versus a more porous Colts front seven.
