Joique Bell came through for anyone who decided to start him Sunday. The Lions' backup running back rushes for only 25 yards on six carries, but did manage to score twice, as Detroit beat the Vikings 34-24.
Joique Bell rewards Lions, fantasy owners with 2 TDs
Bell scored twice and totaled 92 yards in the Lions win. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bell’s scores sandwiched halftime, as he scored on a two-yard run with 10 seconds left in the second quarter, and followed that with a one-yard touchdown run five minutes into the third. He also added 67 yards on five receptions.
Fantasy impact: Bell is owned in 31 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and was started in only one percent, so not a lot of fantasy owners got to enjoy this outing. Two scores and 92 yards are nothing to sneeze at, and it seems likely his ownership percentage will shoot up this week.
Bell looks like he'll be getting much of the goal-line touches for the Lions, as they try to keep newcomer Reggie Bush healthy, with Mikel Leshoure a healthy scratch for this game. If so, Bell might be a source of cheap scores when owners are desperate, but for now he seems unlikely to be an every-week starter option.
