Jamaal Charles gained exactly 100 all-purpose yards for the Chiefs Sunday. He added a rushing touchdown as Kansas City beat the Jaguars, 28-2.
Jamaal Charles gains 100 yards for fantasy owners despite injury
Charles missed much of the second half, but still added a score to his yardage. We break down the fantasy implications.

Charles left the game early in the third quarter with a quadriceps injury. He returned briefly, but was basically a non-factor after the injury, so he contributed most of his day’s performance in only one half of play.
Fantasy impact: The fact that Charles returned from his injury -- even if it was only a brief return -- is definitely a good sign. The team put Jacksonville away early, so it’s not like Charles’ return was necessitated by the game situation. His return, then, seems to have been more for him than for the team.
There will probably be more on Charles’ quad over the next couple days, but, barring any unpleasant news in that time, he remains a must-start in fantasy circles in any matchup. He got 100 yards in little more than a half of play; imagine what he’ll do in a full game.
