Houston Texans running back Arian Foster (hamstring) did not practice with the team on Wednesday, according to the team's official website. Foster only managed eight yards on six carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
Arian Foster sits out practice Wednesday, fantasy status is day-to-day
The Texans’ star running back has been battling an injury all year and sat out practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Foster is without a doubt a fantasy impact player, but he’s had trouble with this nagging injury that just won’t go away. He’s considered day-to-day and given how ineffective he was against the Bills, it’s uncertain whether he’ll actually play in Week 5.
If Foster doesn't play this week, rookie Alfred Blue will start in his place. Blue has just 127 rushing yards this season on 34 attempts. It's safe to say the Texans want Foster playing, but whether he can is in doubt.
Fantasy owners should wait and see if Foster practices on Thursday or Friday before making any changes, but given his performance last week, it looks like he’s definitely not fully healthy.
