Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate is heating up at just the right time. With Calvin Johnson bothered by an ankle injury and playing a decoy role, Tate has been the de facto No. 1 receiver for a couple weeks now. In the last two games, he has combined for 15 catches, 250 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 6: Golden Tate
Golden Tate has been impressive in the past two weeks with Calvin Johnson hobbled. Will he keep it up? We examine his fantasy matchup against the Vikings.

Through five games, Tate has a 31-451-1 line, averaging a healthy 14.5 yards per reception. Johnson aggravated his ankle in Week 5 and may be forced to miss Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, making Tate the unquestioned starter for now.
Fantasy impact: Tate can make the most of his opportunity even without Johnson drawing coverage away from him. The Vikings rank 11th in passing yards allowed per game, but could be without Harrison Smith, who is dealing with an ankle injury. Fantasy owners can fire up Tate as a safe WR3, with WR1 upside if he keeps up his torrid pace from the past two weeks.
