Each year, there are waiver wire adds that propel fantasy teams into contention, and Oakland Raiders wide receiver Andre Holmes looks to be firmly in that group.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 7: Andre Holmes
The Raiders have a wide receiver who has all the beginnings of what looks like a major breakout season. Can he continue that this week versus the Arizona Cardinals? We break down the fantasy implications.

Holmes has climbed a crowded but underwhelming depth chart to the top spot, leading the Raiders receivers in snaps in Week 6 with 48 as well as in targets over the past two games with 20.
But fantasy owners care more about his catches and yards, which have come in droves. Holmes now has nine catches for 195 yards and three scores over his last two weeks.
Fantasy Spin: On the heels of two incredible performances, Holmes now has the juiciest matchup he could ask for this week versus the Arizona Cardinals. Only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have allowed more fantasy points to receivers this season, and the Cardinals have surrendered a touchdown to receivers in each game thus far.
Expect Holmes to get his share of looks this week, including a few deep shots downfield. He’s a high-ceiling WR3.
