Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy saw his best performance of the season in Week 4, which isn't too inspiring. Lacy, a second-year pro, carried the ball 17 times for 48 yards and a touchdown. But it was progress at least, given that he's struggled massively thus far this season. After a very strong rookie season, Lacy has just 161 yards and a touchdown through four games.

Lacy has struggled thus far, but is coming off a decent performance in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Lacy as the primary ball-carrier, the Packers rank No. 28 in the NFL when it comes to rushing yardage, averaging just 73.0 rushing yards per game. That's much, much lower than expected. Lacy appears healthy and the Packers are giving him the carries he needs, he's just struggled. Week 4 was a good sign though, and Lacy may have a solid opportunity to bounce back against the Minnesota Vikings in prime-time on Thursday Night Football.
Fantasy Impact: The Vikings allowed the Falcons to rush for 6.0 yards per carry in Week 4 and haven't been strong against the run over the past couple weeks. They rank right in the middle of the league in rush defense, allowing 113.3 rushing yards per game on average. It's a solid opportunity for Lacy to make a comeback and while he's not a RB1 by any stretch of the imagination, he should break out sometime and he's worth a start for fantasy owners.
