Houston Texans running back Arian Foster was limited in practice on Thursday. The team has been noncommittal on his status for Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys in a tough road game. Foster has dealt with a hamstring issue since training camp and will likely have his practice time held in check for the foreseeable future.
Arian Foster remains limited in practice, still risky in fantasy leagues
Arian Foster is still limited in practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

He's headed toward the dreaded game-time decision this week. Foster was leading the NFL in touches before the team held him out of action in Week 3, but he got 15 touches in Week 4 during a win over the Buffalo Bills. He also admitted he wasn't 100 percent in the post-game, which explains why he's limited this week.
The Texans need him to be healthy, and the worst thing they’d want would be a severe strain of his hamstring. If he doesn’t sit out in Week 5, he’ll likely be sitting out at some point in the next month.
Fantasy impact: He's not going to be fun to own. Just about every week he'll be a game-time decision. Alfred Blue has separated himself as the backup and has to be owned in all leagues. He would be a solid RB2 with Foster out of the lineup. If Foster is active, he's a must-play option.
