The St. Louis Rams managed a difficult win against the reining Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Through cautious offensive play and a well-executed special teams game plan, the Rams overcame a record-breaking performance by quarterback Russell Wilson.
Rams fantasy recap: Big win for St. Louis leaves little for fantasy owners
The Rams came away with a stunning victory over their division rivals. We take a look at the individual fantasy performances.

We’re here to break down the individual fantasy performers.
Austin Davis: Davis was careful yet efficient, completing 18 of his 21 attempts for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Most of his passes were short, high-percentage attempts as the Rams benefited from their run game and special teams play. Davis is in the middle of a gauntlet of tough defenses on the Rams schedule. However, he does have a beatable Kansas City defense in Week 8. He'll continue to put up QB2 numbers with the occasional explosive week. He's worth owning in two-quarterback leagues.
Brian Quick: Quick put up another dud week for fantasy owners. He caught two passes for 33 yards. Seattle chose to focus on Quick for most of Sunday's game, and understandably so. Quick has the talent to bounce back, and he'll remain a WR3 against the Chiefs.
Zac Stacy: Stacy didn't see a single carry in Sunday's win. Fantasy owners should have been bracing themselves for a low scoring week from Stacy. His numbers were declining each week, and the match up against Seattle is typically a difficult one for running backs. Regardless, Stacy's complete lack of touches came as a bit of a surprise. He's an average talent that's now facing third on the depth chart. Owners can drop Stacy if they need the space on their roster.
Benny Cunningham: Cunningham saw just two carries for 3 yards, but he made up for his ground game through the passing game. Cunningham caught all five of his targets for 46 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy owners can consider Cunningham a flex option for now, especially in PPR leagues, as he's being relied on as the better back in pass protection.
Tre Mason: Mason was impressive with the few opportunities he had in Week 6 against the 49ers. He proved his effectiveness in Week 7. Mason carried the ball 18 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. He was not involved in the passing game. Mason is proving to be the more explosive option out of the Rams backfield and could see the start in Week 8. Owned in just 14 percent of leagues, Mason should be picked up immediately. While it appears as though no running back has true job security in St. Louis, Mason is the clear hot hand for the time being.
