Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson sustained a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. That said, the injury was described as a "little tweak" and "nothing big" by Richardson, according to Mike Wells of ESPN. Richardson said that he was still able to run if need be, but that head coach Chuck Pagano told him that there was "no reason" to back out.
Trent Richardson injury is minor; low fantasy value even when healthy
Trent Richardson’s hamstring injury is a minor one. We break down the fantasy implications.

Indianapolis was ahead big time, and eventually won the game in decisive fashion, 27-0. Unfortunately, the injury occurred when Richardson was well on his way to his first 100-yard rushing game since being traded to the Colts. He had 14 carries for 77 yards when the injury sent him to the sidelines. Indianapolis was averaging 5.0 yards per carry as a team and ran for 171 total yards against the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact: Richardson has disappointed since entering the league. He has a career rushing average of 3.4 yards per carry, and has just 358 yards on the season thus far. It was a big shock when the Colts traded a first-round pick to get him from the Cleveland Browns, who were regretting using a first-round pick on him in the first place. He was on his way to a solid game this past week, but he really does not have much fantasy value going forward.
