The Pittsburgh Steelers kept their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Houston Texans Monday night but they still have big issues to overcome. Aiding their cause are Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell, who may be the best skill players in the league right now. Rookie Martavis Bryant made an excellent impression in his first NFL action as well.
Steelers fantasy football recap: Le’Veon Bell is double trouble for the Texans
The Pittsburgh Steelers are still alive in the AFC North courtesy of a win over the Houston Texans on “Monday Night Football.” We bring you the fantasy implications here.

The Texans jumped out to a 13-0 lead but two costly turnovers allowed the Steelers to capitalize. Pittsburgh scored touchdowns off an Arian Foster fumble as well as a Ryan Fitzpatrick interception. Wide receiver Antonio Brown threw a touchdown reception to Lance Moore with a little trickeration call from Todd Haley. The Steelers have now won 16 consecutive home games on Monday Night Football.
Let’s breakdown the fantasy implications.
Ben Roethlisberger: Roethlisberger had one of his better outings of the season under the bright lights of Monday Night Football. He finished with 265 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Even though he doesn't put up big stats consistently, he does put up decent fantasy numbers so he will stay one of the better fantasy starts at quarterback. He should remain a viable fantasy start in most leagues.
Antonio Brown: Brown put on quite a show with nine receptions for 90 yards while adding a touchdown pass to fellow wide receiver Lance Moore. Brown is an outstanding athlete and is one of the best receivers in the game right now. He will remain a must-start across all leagues and is on pace for over 1,600 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns on the season.
Le'Veon Bell: Bell was everywhere against the Texans and was a factor in the passing and running game. He finished with 12 rushes for 57 yards and added eight receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Bell caught everything thrown his way from Roethlisberger, including a 43-yard reception. He will remain a must-start across all fantasy leagues.
Martavis Bryant: Bryant had his "welcome to the NFL" game Monday night, registering his first reception along with his first touchdown. The score came on a 35-yard reception in the second quarter. He finished with two catches for 40 yards and the touchdown. Bryant has talent and it was on display. Roethlisberger looked his way five times in his first NFL start so expect him to get more looks. He is not a viable fantasy option yet, but he is a young wide receiver who should be on your radar.
