Calvin Johnson misses practice Wednesday, expected to be out of fantasy lineups a while
The Lions’ superstar didn’t practice with the team on Wednesday and is likely out against the Falcons for Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Given that the Lions have traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to play against the Atlanta Falcons in England for their Week 8 matchup and the team has its bye in Week 9, it makes sense to rest Johnson again.
He does have a reputation for playing through pain, but he hasn’t been himself in over a month, so it’s obvious this time around he’s been feeling a fair amount of pain in the injured ankle. Johnson would’ve been a top fantasy starter this week against a beatable Falcons secondary unit.
Since it looks like Johnson won't play, Golden Tate will be the receiver to own in fantasy leagues. Tate managed 10 catches for 154 yards and one touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7
