Detroit Lions tight ends Brandon Pettigrew and Eric Ebron are both dealing with injury and were not at practice on Wednesday, according to Tim Twentyman of the team website. Ebron is dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him out of Detroit's Week 7 game, while it's unclear why Pettigrew missed the session.
Eric Ebron, Brandon Pettigrew miss practice; fantasy status iffy for both
Both Eric Ebron and Brandon Pettigrew missed practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Neither player has performed particularly well this season, which is a pretty significant disappointment given how good the Lions typically are at throwing the football. Ebron has caught 10 of the 20 passes thrown his way for 103 yards and one touchdown. Pettigrew, who hasn’t missed a game this season, caught nine of 14 passes for 68 yards with zero scores.
Fantasy Impact: While Ebron and Pettigrew have both struggled, it's still significant that neither was at practice. Both have a lot of potential for big games on any given day, but the guys after them on the depth chart inspire even less confidence. Kellen Davis and Jordan Thompson would be the next two healthy players, as Joseph Fauria has an ankle injury as well. Fauria also missed practice on Wednesday. There's not a whole lot here to be excited about for fantasy owners.
